The Salvation Army, 27 Payne Ave./Route 1, invites everyone to enjoy a concert by The Walkers, a dynamic southern gospel trio with more than years of performing and ministering, Sunday, July 17, at 5 p.m.

The Walkers’ music combines country, southern gospel and contemporary in one spiritually moving and energetic sound to capture audiences of all ages. Life on the road is not an easy one but for this Florida-based trio, the call is a divine mission and the journey is worthwhile. The Walkers’ early ministry was primarily in South Georgia and Florida, but today is in 38 states and Canada.

As the church world has evolved through the years, The Walkers have been able to change and adapt with it. These changes have not only been in their style of music, but also in technology. In addition to top-level music, a multimedia presentation follows along with everything happening on stage. Their latest release, “Twenty,” is a collection of southern gospel songs with elements of both country and praise & worship.
