As part of Rockland’s Wellness Wednesday program, The Art Loft will offer a session of free one-hour art classes, noon to 1 p.m. Wednesdays, July 13 through 27.

This weekly drop-in class sets participants up to incorporate artistic expression into everyday life. Each week, a new part of self-discovery is examined through exercises that promote reflection and provide inspiration. No art experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. Classes are guided by Art Loft intern Marissa Sanzone.

The goal of is to challenge participants to improve their lives in small ways in just 21 days by focusing on three aspects of the Wellness Challenge — gratitude, kindness, and love. More information on this series of free classes is online at artloftrockland.org. A donation of $5 is suggested and appreciated, but not necessary.

The Art Loft is a nonprofit community art center located at 385 Main St. Suite 9 (inside the lobby of the Thorndike Building). For more information, email info@artloftrockland.org or call 200-9795.
