The annual meeting of the Waldoborough Historical Society will  take place Wednesday, July 13, at the Museum on Main Street. Dessert and beverage will be served at 6:30 p.m., followed by a brief meeting.

A round-table discussion entitled “Remembering Times Past” will be held with several members of the community taking part, sharing remembrances of earlier years in Waldoboro. The public is invited to attend.

New artifacts include a Waldoboro hooked rug by Marjorie Freeman, military attire worn by Fred McNally and Richard Hall, Eugene Winchenbach’s military trunk; a hair receiver collection from Lillian Dolloff,  and three Bechler paintings.

In the schoolhouse is an exhibit celebrating the 80-year anniversary of the dedication of the A.D. Gray building and the Class of 1936. The museum is open Wednesday through Monday, noon to 3 p.m.
