Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education has announced that they have signed on as a partner organization with the national Lyme Disease Association.

Co-found in 2014 by Paula Jackson Jones and Angele Rice, Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education, a nonprofit 501c3 organization, raises awareness, fosters education, advocates for change and provides local support across Midcoast Maine to those affected by Lyme and tickborne disease.

Members of the Maine CDC's Vector-Borne Workgroup, they bring the voice of the Maine people to the table. Also members of Destination Wellness and Integrative Wellness Council of Maine, they provide free resources at all their support meetings, events, prevention and educational talks that are held year round across Midcoast Maine.

Currently, MLDSE is the only Maine state affiliate of the national Lyme Disease Association.
