Children ages 6-12 can join Camp Cornerstone for a free week of camp, July 11-15.

The days are filled with many fun-filled activities. Our day starts by gathering around the 12-foot teepee. Campers participate in sports, arts and crafts, singing, Bible lessons, missions, memorizing Bible verses, and quizzing competitions. At the end of each day, campers are encouraged to find the answer to a mystery question, which is usually based on a Native American theme. Throughout the day, campers earn points for their tribe. The points accumulate all week for an exciting contest and the winning tribe will be announced on Sunday at the closing program.

Crafts such as woodland moccasins, mosaics, shaker drum, puppet, bead work, and making a wigwam are sure to be a hit with the campers. In the afternoon the campers can choose from electives such as: archery, birch bark picture, bug mobile, and many other crafts and electives. You can find pictures on our web page.

During recreation time and lunch campers have fun playing many different games and just hanging out together. A great week is planned this year.

Camp hours are from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. each day. Camp Cornerstone strives to provide a well-rounded program that meets the physical, mental, social, and spiritual needs of each child. Camp Cornerstone is in its 12th year of giving back to the community by serving its youth.

Call the church office for a brochure and registration form at 236-0687 or download a registration form at and bring it to camp. Camp is held on the grounds of Cornerstone Baptist Church at 164 Cobb Road, Camden.
