The Port Clyde Art Gallery will show the work of James Stephen Zoller from Wednesday, July 6, through July 25. The public is invited to an opening reception Friday, July 8, from 5 to 7 p.m.

Zoller is a self-taught artist whose work has been included in galleries in Texas and Maine, as well as many private collections across the country. His paintings, which often are characterized by spruce-dotted islandscapes and tranquil still lifes, continues to be inspired by the rich surroundings of Midcoast Maine — a place he feels fortunate to now call home.
