Camden Public Library’s Summer Music Series continues Monday, July 11, with a 6:30 p.m. concert by the Mondaynite Jazz Orchestra in the Camden Amphitheatre, Atlantic Avenue.

MoJO plays a wide range of modern and traditional big band music with a variety of other styles, as well. This 18-piece Midcoast-based band derives its name from their practice schedule, Monday nights, and it certainly has its mojo workin’.

MoJO members include Craig Ouellette, musical director and trumpet player; Doug Kennedy, percussion; Ian McKenzie, keyboards; Chris Sewall, bass and guitar; Glen Angel, alto sax; Phil Pelletier, alto sax; Ray Faria, tenor sax; Scott Kessel, tenor sax; Jake Faria, baritone sax; Marcus Hutchins, bari and flute; Lou Pelletier, trumpet and vocals; Dave Wakely, trumpet; Mark Lewis, trumpet and vocals; Silas Faria, trombone; John Gass, trombone; Patrick Munson, trombone; and Silvia Sayers, trombone.

The “double feature” evening will be capped at dusk (around 8:30 p.m.) with a screening of “The Spiderwick Chronicles” (2008, USA). The events are free, although donations will be accepted.
