Trekkers is hosting "Midsummer Night’s Dream," a farm-to-table culinary adventure by Chef Melody Wolfertz at Cellardoor Winery’s Farmhouse in Lincolnville Monday, July 25.

The fundraiser will include a cocktail hour from 6 to 7 p.m., with dinner at 7. The menu, to be created by Chef Melody Wolfertz, will be complemented with award-winning wine pairings from Cellardoor Winery. Guests will enjoy a gourmet meal in the Farmhouse, overlooking the vineyards. Proceeds will benefit the youth programs of Trekkers.

Wolfertz, owner and chef of In Good Company, graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1988, where she was awarded the Francis L. Roth award for outstanding performance. She returned to her hometown of Rockland in 2000 after 13 years of chef and restaurant management experience. She saw the need for a place where people could go to drink good wine in a relaxed environment and opened In Good Company in July 2004 in Rockland.

Tickets for the event are $125 per person with seating limited to 36 people, so early reservations are recommended. To purchase tickets, or for more information, call the Trekkers office at 594-5095 or go to Trekkers’ website, trekkers.org. Tickets can also be purchased online through Trekkers’ “Donate” page.

Trekkers wishes to thank Chef Wolfertz, Horch Roofing and Owls Head Transportation Museum for their support of this event.
