Lie-Nielsen Toolworks is hosting a summer open house from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, July 8 and 9, at the facility in Warren.

This is an opportunity to see behind the scenes at Lie-Nielsen Toolworks. The public is invited to tour the shop, test the full line of tools in the showroom and meet the folks who manufacture heirloom quality, American-made, woodworking hand tools. Staff will be present to answer questions and demonstrate tools.

Lie-Nielsen will also showcase a group of guest demonstrators at the open house this year. Visitors will be able to interact with a diverse range of independent toolmakers, woodworking schools and master woodworkers from around the United States.

There also will be a $35-per-person lobster dinner July 9 with a presentation by Gary Chin. RSVP is requested by July 1.

Lie-Nielsen is located at 264 Stirling Road, Warren.
