Elise Huff from the Coastal Children's Museum and Susie Meadows from the Project Puffin Visitor Center are bringing back the kid’s summer workshop series Seaside Explorers. The First session will be Friday, July 1, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Coastal Children’s Museum. For this workshop, kids will focus on food webs. Explore how different living creatures in the ocean get the energy they need in order to live, and what (or who) they have to eat to get it.

This workshop is the first in a series which will continue throughout July and August on every other Friday. The workshops will cover topics of migration, motion in the ocean, marine habitats and, of course, puffins.

This is a free workshop. For more information on this event, email  programs@coastalchildrensmuseum.org or call 596-0300.

Coastal Children’s Museum is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. year-round.  For more information on upcoming events and memberships, visit coastalchildrensmuseum.org.
