Medomak Valley Land Trust is celebrating its more than two decades of conservation with a special 25th anniversary Scavenger Hunt for kids throughout the region.

The scavenger hunt is open to all ages and is free to enroll in. Participants receive points for visiting up to eight different trails in the land trust’s network in Friendship, Bremen, Waldoboro and Union. Additional points are scored for finding nature-based scavenger hunt items on the trails.

This challenge aims to get families outdoors and provides a fun and exciting reason to visit new trails this summer. To participate, parents or children can email the office at info@medomakvalley.org for a detailed activity flyer, or stop by the Waldoboro office in person to pick up a printed copy, at 25 Friendship St.

Medomak Valley Land Trust has been working for 25 years to promote and preserve the natural, recreational and scenic character and the traditional land uses of the Medomak River watershed.
