David Rockwell, nephew of Andrew Wyeth, will be at the museum’s Olson House to share with visitors his recollections of his uncle Andrew Wyeth, the Olsons and summers in Cushing this summer. The talks, included in Olson House admission, take place Thursdays at 2 p.m. through August.

Rockwell, whose father Dudley regaled visitors to the Olson House for years, has a B.S. in Education and a M.A. in History from Emporia State University, as well as a Certificate of Advanced Studies from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He has been teaching at Suffield Academy in Suffield, Conn., for 50 years including environmental/political and educational philosophy, as well as Native American studies. He chaired the history department there for 25 years and currently ius the chairman of the leadership department.
