The fourth annual Lobsterpalooza  Mac ’n' Cheese cooking contest will be held Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Rockland Elks Club, with both an amateur and a professional category. Maine chefs working in a licensed food establishment are eligible to enter. The amateur category is open to all.

There is no entry fee. The only stipulation is that each entered dish must  include lobster, pasta and cheese.

All proceeds support the AIO Food Pantry. Last year the event generated a donation of $600 to help feed needy families in the area.
