Dr. Richard Kahn will present what he has described as a "shockingly brief" history of medical care from the days of the first settlement in Maine to about 1800. He will speak at the St. George Historical Society’s meeting Thursday, June 30, at 7:30 p.m.

Dr. Kahn has researched the particulars of medical history for many years, and has had quite a long practice himself.  His talk will follow a 6:30 p.m. potluck supper. Everyone is invited at no charge, but a collection will be taken to pay the cost of the use of the hall.

For more information, call James Skoglund, 372-8893.  If you call, speak to the machine or he won’t pick up and answer.
