Live music is part of the full-day schedule that is the annual Thomaston Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration. After the 11 a.m. parade, which includes a range of music on its own, there will be tunes to accompany the food, games, art and craft tents, Cod Adams Memorial Horseshoe Tournament and more going on behind the downtown business block.

The Pampered Cats will cover a mix of danceable funk and soul from 12:30 to 4 p.m. on the parking lot stage. From 5 to 9 p.m., local favorites Animal House will fuel the pre-fireworks fun (in the event of rain or fog, fireworks will be rescheduled to July 5).
