Pi Day

Pi Day is coming on March 14. Members of Hope's math team are planning some activities to make the day a great opportunity for students to explore pi and math-related concepts, but nothing could be better on Pi Day than pie. The team has calculated that they would need about 25 pies to be able to feed the entire school a slice of pie at 1:59 pm. (That's 3/14 at 1:59 or 3.14159. . . the first 6 digits of pi.) We are looking for some pie bakers to help us out.

If you are willing to contribute a pie to Hope's Pi Day event, please contact a math team member or Mrs. Williams (barb.williams@fivetowns.net or 785-4081).
