Maine party caucuses to choose presidential nominees will be held the weekend of March 5-6.

Knox County

Republicans

The Republican caucus for all Knox County municipalities will be held Saturday, March 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Rockland Middle School, 30 Broadway, Rockland.

From 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., voters not enrolled with a party may register and enroll with the Republican Party. Speeches will begin at 10 a.m.

Voting will be open from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Voters must present a photo ID.

Only active duty military, dependents, National Guard members and disabled veterans may cast an absentee ballot for the caucus. Visit mainegop.com/vetsvote for more information.

Democrats

Democratic caucuses will be held by municipality Sunday, March 6, at the locations and times below. This list will be updated at mainedems.org/knox-caucuses.

Any Democrat may vote by absentee ballot, available at mainedems.org/request-absentee-ballot.

 

Waldo County

Republicans

The Republican caucus for all Waldo County municipalities will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Belfast Area High School, 98 Waldo Ave., Belfast.

Registration and enrollment for voters not enrolled in a party will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. Presidential speeches will be held at 10 a.m.

Voting opens at 9 a.m. and continues until noon. Voters must present a photo ID.
