Waldoboro police officers responded to 229 calls for service between Dec. 15 and Dec. 22. Below are a few of the highlights.

Dec. 14

Officer Chris Spear summoned Daniel Collins, 69, of Waldoboro, for operating after suspension/revocation.

Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a complaint of the theft of wood.

Dec. 17

Officer Larry Hesseltine arrested Todd Dodge, 41, of Waldoboro, on a warrant.

Dec. 19

Fuller investigated a report of harassment by text message.

Fuller and Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated a report of the theft of money.

Wilson investigated a report from the Big Apple of a $12.60 gasoline drive-off. The subject was found and returned to pay for it.

Dec. 20

Fuller arrested Kelly Hall, 30, of Waldoboro, on two warrants.

Dec. 21

Fuller summoned Phillip Cunningham, 46, of Friendship, for failure to stop for a police officer.

Dec. 22

Fuller arrested Jeffery Luce, 36, of Whitefield for theft by deception, violation of bail (third time), refusing to submit to arrest and failure to sign summons.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
