Jackson Memorial Library, 71 Main St./Route 131, has been selected by the Maine Humanities Council to offer Let’s Talk About It, a reading and discussion group with copies of the books available at the library.

The American Revolutionary Generation series will begin Wednesday, Jan. 20, at 3 p.m. and continues for four more sessions through April 13. Patrick Callaway, a professor at Husson University, will facilitate the discussions.

The first book to be discussed is “American Revolution: A History” by Gordon S. Wood. All books for the program are available for loan at the library; call 372-8961 to register and stop by to pick up the first book in the series.

This program is offered to Maine libraries through the Maine Humanities Council in partnership with the Maine State Library.
