Everyone is invited to come to Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., Thursday, Jan. 7, at 6 p.m. for a concert by local band The Rusty Hinges.
The Rusty Hinges plays country, folk and blues in an upbeat, as well as traditional, style; and performs in the Midcoast region throughout the year. The group also plays for seasonal venues and offers a variety of traditional songs and music for festivals and special gatherings and occasions.
The group features Nancy Jones (vocals, guitar, penny whistle and fiddle), Cindy Millar (vocal, mandolin and fiddle), Brian Dunn (vocal, banjo and mandolin), Chuck McGregor (bass) and Dick White (vocal and guitar).
This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Rockland Library, is free and open to the public. For more information, call 594-0310.
