Rock City Café, 316 Main St., will present Tod Pronto Saturday, Jan. 2, from 7 to 9 p.m.

Pronto is a singer/songwriter born and raised in Newport, Vt. He has recorded three albums of original music to date including “Nashville Stereo,” recorded in Nashville for B-Venturous Records; and his new self-produced album "It Can't All Be Wrong."

Pronto also writes instrumental background music for television, and his work has appeared on AMC and The National Geographic Network, among others. His song “Money and a Suitcase” was the first track featured on a compilation album put out by Shut Eye Records in 2005 called "The United State of Americana Vol. 3" that went on to reach No. 20 on the Roots Rock Airplay Report. His live show combines originals with his fun and distinctive brand of storytelling.
