We are so proud to announce that all of our dogs have been adopted! The kennels at our new location on John Street are empty — and that doesn't happen often. It won't stay this way for long, of course, but for now, we're grateful that all of our beautiful dogs will be home, really home, in time for Christmas. And meanwhile, we still have plenty of cats available. So if you haven't yet found that special furry friend with whom to share the holidays, you still have time to visit us and fall in love.

Babe is one of those kitties that would love to find a happy home before the end of the year. She came to P.A.W.S. after her owner could no longer care for her. Babe is one of those cats that just can’t sit still. No ball, string, or mouse is safe in her presence, and when she's not playing with toys, she's engaged in her favorite sport: hide and seek! She loves to find a tiny hiding places where she can keep an eye on everything around her. And with her pretty torticolored fur and funny stripe on her nose, she's as pretty to look at as she is fun to be around. A perfect cat in our eyes! Come visit her yourself and see if you agree.

Babe shares a room with another of our favorites, Zaiden. This handsome boy has the most special, enormous, double paws. You'll laugh when you see the way he tiptoes around the room. A "senior" who still loves to play, he gets along with all the other cats and has that calm personality and wisdom that you often see in older felines. When Zaiden first arrived at P.A.W.S., he'd been living on the street, and he had kidney issues and infected teeth that were making him miserable. After we gave him the necessary care, proper diet, and long overdue dental work, he blossomed. Zaiden no longer requires a special diet. Regular, moist, canned cat food — plus plenty of love, treats, and maybe a window where he can sit and watch the world go by — are really all this sweet boy needs.

As we approach the end of the year, all of us at P.A.W.S. want to express how grateful we are to our many supporters. Volunteers, donors, visitors, adopters — each of you plays a critical role. Where would we be without you? We wish you all the merriest of holidays, surrounded by the love of family and friends, whether they have two legs or four. And if there's room in your time and budget for a little extra holiday fur-lanthropy, please know that we could really use bleach, dish detergent, and hand sanitizer. Our entrance at 123 John St. in Camden is always open for donations, and so is our website: pawsadoption.org. Or feel free to call us at 236-8702.
