The Knox Center for Long Term Care welcomes Carol Timberlake, LNHA, FACHCA as its new administrator. Timberlake is a licensed nursing home administrator with more than 35 years of experience in the field. She has extensive experience in facility management, staff/customer service training and referral management.

Prior to joining the Knox Center, Timberlake was project director at the Western Area Agency on Aging and most recently at North Country Associates. While at North Country Associates, she managed four levels of care in two facilities, including skilled and long-term nursing facilities, residential care and assisted living apartments. At one point, Timberlake managed three of these units while concurrently serving in the vice president of marketing position. She is a three-time North Country Administrator of the Year and a 2015 recipient of the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award, a national award recognizing administrators whose teams have achieved high levels of organizational quality.

Timberlake is a member of the Maine Health Care Association and a Fellow of the American College of Health Care Administrators, where she serves as treasurer of the Maine Chapter.
