Five Town Basketball has organized its first ever food drive to help replenish the local food pantries in the Five Town region.
Food collection boxes have been placed at the Appleton Village School, Lincolnville Central School, Hope Elementary School, Camden-Rockport Middle School and Camden-Rockport Elementary School and will remain at each location until Tuesday, Dec. 22.
FTBB is asking for paper goods and non-perishable food items. Items can be dropped off during school hours and during sporting events.
"The Five Town communities have been very supportive of our youth program over the years, we as an organization wanted to give something back to show our appreciation.", said Juan Alcala, president of Five Town Basketball, in a news release.
