Togus writers read in Rockland

Members of the Togus Writers’ Group will read selections of their work Friday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. in the sitting area of Jensen’s Pharmacy, on the first floor of the Breakwater Marketplace, 91 Camden St./Route 1.

All are welcome to the free reading. The Togus Writers’ Group meets weekly at the Togus V.A. Medical Center. It is led by Rockland poet George Chappell and has several members from the Midcoast. Chappell’s second book of poetry, “When Souls Walk Away,” was published earlier this year and includes work by the group’s members.
