Come to the Rockland Public Library, 80 Union St., Monday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. for an evening of making simple gifts. There will be four tables– each with different crafts to create.
Mary Jane Martin will show people how to make and decorate wooden earrings. With Carney Doucette, crafters can make ornaments from seashells. Patty King will help participants make items from paper, including a matchbook journal and bookmarks. Peter Proeller will demonstrate how to make punched aluminum candleholders.
The event is free, with supplies and guidance provided. This program is for adults and teenagers. For more information, call 594-0310.
