The Strand Theatre, 345 Main St., will present a high definition broadcast of a 1999 Christmas concert by operatic tenors Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras Tuesday, Dec. 22, at 1 p.m.

The Three Tenors capture the joy and spirit of the season with their first Christmas concert, featuring performances of international season favorites by the best-selling and world-renowned trio. Recorded at the Konzerthaus, Vienna, in December 1999, the digitally-restored screening features many holiday favorites including “Ave Maria,” “Silent Night” and “O Tannenbaum.” The concert includes performances by The Gumpoldskirchner Spatzen Children’s Choir and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Mercurio.

This presentation runs an hour and 21 minutes.
