Quarry Hill and Camden Public Library invite community members age 50-plus to take some time out of the busy holiday season to immerse themselves in the performance art of Dave Morrison.

Soundscapes: The Poetry and Music of Dave Morrison will be presented by the popular musician/poet as part of Quarry Hill’s Adventures in Living Well series for older adults Wednesday, Dec. 16, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the downtown library, which is cosponsoring the event.

The Midcoast resident is a troubadour for the 21st century, reciting his own free-form verse while accompanying himself on electric guitar. This event will be Morrison’s second appearance on the Adventures stage and will showcase several of his newer works. A selection of his anthologies will be available for purchase and signing.

Admission to all Adventures in Living Well programs is free, but registration is required. To sign up, contact Quarry Hill at 921-6116. Quarry Hill, a member of the Pen Bay Medical Center family of services, is an extended-care community for adults age 55-plus. For more information, visit quarryhill.org.
