Children and parents are invited to make nutcracker ornaments Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Lincolnville Community Library, 208 Main St.. There is no charge for the program and all materials will be provided.
There will be small wooden pieces and pipe cleaners for creating the 6-inch-high nutcrackers, along with colorful paints, markers and a variety of fun materials for decorating them. There will also be pictures of nutcrackers and crayons for those who would like to do some coloring. And everyone may listen to a reading of the classic nutcracker fairy tale.
