The community is invited to a holiday open house Saturday, Dec. 12, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Barnswallow Books, 166 Russell Ave. (across the street from the library and next to the former CMCA).
This free event will feature live holiday music and readings. Barnswallow Books also will offer free coffee, hot chocolate and cookies. There is a new Holiday Shop on the second level.
Barnswallow Books will be remain open all year and now features a small cafe with sweet and savory fresh baked goods.
