The Camden Hills Regional High School Music Department will present a holiday concert Thursday, Dec. 17, at 7 p.m. in the Strom Auditorium of the school, off Route 90.
Groups to be featured include the CHRHS Concert and Jazz bands, directed by Nancy Rowe; and the CHRHS Chorale, Chamber Singers and Women’s Choir, directed by Kimberly Murphy and conducted by Susan Iltis.
The ensembles will perform a variety of traditional holiday repertoire, as well as other works. The concert will culminate with a combined band/chorus performance of “Irving Berlin’s Christmas.”
The Holiday Concert will be preceded by the annual Empty Bowl Dinner in the Wave Café, from 5 to 7 p.m.; suggested donation for the dinner is $8, $25 for a family of four. The suggested donation for the concert is one or more non-perishable food items for local food banks. Snow day for both events is Monday, Dec. 21.
