The Camden Hills Regional High School’s Empty Bowl Club will host its annual Empty Bowl Dinner and Silent Auction Thursday, Dec. 17, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Wave Cafe of the school, off Route 90.
The dinner and auction will benefit Midcoast food pantries. Cost is $8, $25 for a family of four (with two small children), and includes a soup supper and handmade bowl to take home.
After the dinner there will be a free (non-perishable food donation requested) winter choral and band concert in the Strom Auditorium starting at 7 p.m., so everyone is invited to come and enjoy an uplifting, fundraising evening.
For more information, call the high school at 236-7800 and ask for ceramics teacher Russell Kahn.
