New director of nursing comes to Windward Gardens

Terrie Freeman has been hired as the new director of nursing at Windward Gardens, 105 Mechanic St.

Freeman has been a Registered Nurse for more than 20 years, with a passion for long-term care, which is why she pursued a bachelor's degree in long-term care administration from St. Joseph's College, which she received in September.

She resides in Rockland with her husband, Roger, two grandchildren, Jacob and Megan, three dogs and a cat. She also has two grown children. Her interests include camping, reading, spending time with family, trips to Disney with the grandchildren and relaxing at home.
