Appleton Historical Society sets auction for Dec. 7

The Appleton Historical Society Annual Benefit Auction will be held at the Appleton Library, 1200 Sennebec Road, Monday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m.

Donations for the auction are still being accepted. Call 785-2040 for pickup; the deadline for pickup is Saturday, Dec. 5, at noon. Items may be dropped off in the AHS Room at the library Friday, Dec. 4, from 10 a.m. to noon and Monday, Dec. 7, from 3 p.m. on.

Tickets for the 50/50 raffle are still available for sale, and will be right up to the drawing that evening.

Those attending are urged to bring something for refreshment following the auction.
