The Friends of Music Concert Series, an outreach program of the First Congregational Church of Camden, invites the public to a free concert presented by Steve Weston, Amy Maier and Jan Zimmermann Friday, Dec. 4, at noon in the sanctuary of the church, 55 Elm St./Route 1.
The lunchtime interlude for the holiday season will kick off Christmas-by-the-Sea weekend. Steve Weston, director of music at the church, will be joined by Rockport flutists Zimmermann; and pianist Maier of Bangor. Their program will include music by Devienne, Gretry, Gluck, Gossec and Telemann. This one-hour concert is designed to welcome the season in a spirit of relaxation.
As always, the Friends of Music concert is free and open to the public; however, donations are cheerfully accepted at the door to help sustain the program. For more information, call 236-4821.
