The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office has announced the following local incidents:
Nov. 12
Joe Maye, 49, of Warren, was arrested for operating after suspension and on a warrant for failure to appear on Route 1 in Newcastle by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
An accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Craig J. Ventimiglia, 49, of Waldoboro. Ventimiglia was traveling south in his 2001 Subaru Legacy when a deer ran out of a wooded area and struck the front of his vehicle. Deputy Kenneth Hatch was the investigating officer.
Nov. 20
Kevin S. King, 53, of Waldoboro, was arrested on warrant out of Florida on a fugitive from justice charge at Two Bridges Regional Jail in Wiscasset by Detective Jared Mitkus.
Nov. 23
Anthony S. Winchenbach, 33, of Waldoboro, was arrested for operating under the influence (drugs or combination of drugs and alcohol) on Bristol Road in Bristol by Deputy First Class Mark Bridgham.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.
