The Maine State Ballet’s “The Nutcracker” returns to Merrill Auditorium Saturday, Nov. 28, through Sunday, Dec. 6. Included in the corps is Kennedy Scheimreif of Waldoboro.

The beloved family holiday production will feature live music from the Maine State Ballet Orchestra; singing from the Musica de Filia Girls Chorus; costumes and stage scenery by Gail Csoboth; and dancing by more than 300 of the most talented dancers in Maine. Scheimreif is part of the “Russian” portion.

Performances of the Falmouth-based company’s “The Nutcracker” will be held Nov. 28 at 2 and 7 p.m.; Nov. 29 at 2 p.m.; Dec. 4 at 7 p.m.; Dec. 5 at 2 and 7 p.m.; and Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.
