Those already exhausted by the looming anxiety of Black Friday and Local Saturday sales and shopping are invited to plan a respite from holiday cheer by joining the coloring group at Thomaston Public Library.
The adult group will meet Monday, Nov. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the library, located in the historic Thomaston Academy building, 60 Main St./Route 1.
Attendees will work with crayons, colored pencils and markers on a selection of images from some of Johanna Basford’s popular coloring books. “Enchanted Forest,” “Secret Garden” and “Lost Ocean” will be explored during this inaugural Color Off. There will be light refreshments and camaraderie.
For more information, call Joanna Hynd at the library, 354-2453.
