The downtown Center for Maine Contemporary Art, 162 Russell Ave., will present a free ArtLab for All Ages workshop on designing and creating personalized graffiti art tags Saturday, April 4, from 2 to 4 p.m.

A “tag” is a graffiti artist’s signature. The workshop is inspired by the Dunk the Junk mural created by artists Mike Rich, Vyalone and KEO, which is on view in the upper gallery through April 4. The workshop is open to everyone, and no preregistration is required. All materials will be provided.

ArtLab is made possible in part by support from Camden National Bank, Harbor Square Gallery, the Milton and Sally Avery Art Foundation and individual donors. The Center for Maine Contemporary Art is a nonprofit organization advancing contemporary art in Maine through exhibitions and educational programs.
