The Midcoast Recreation Center fall junior tennis programs begin the week of Sept. 15. The junior programs run in monthly (calendar) sessions and one can jump in at any time. Financial assistance is available for all MRC programs.

"The comprehensive program schedule truly has something for any junior player ages 4 and older," said Seth Meyer, director of sports and programs. "Whether your child has never hit a tennis ball before or they consistently compete in tournaments, we have the programs for you."

One highlight of MRC’s junior tennis is the 10-and-younger program. Using equipment that is age appropriate (lower bouncing balls, smaller courts, smaller rackets) the program allows a young person to pick up the game quickly and have fun.
