Two people were summoned by police following a two-car crash at the intersection of Eastern Road and Camden Road (Route 90) in Warren Sept. 4.

At about 2:30 p.m. a black 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser, operated by Maxwell Lewis, 17, of Boothbay, was traveling north on Camden Road, when he attempted to make a left-hand turn onto Eastern Road and failed to yield to the right-of-way of a silver GMC Sierra, driven by Cameron Ludwig, 23, of Appleton, according to a press release sent Sept. 5 by the Knox County Sheriff's Office.

Lewis was summoned for carrying passengers beyond intermediate license restrictions, according to the release. His passenger Cameron Allen, 17, received minor injuries.

Ludwig was summoned for failure to produce evidence of insurance and operating an unregistered vehicle.

All involved received minor injuries, and were treated at the scene.

Both vehicles were towed due to disabling damage.

Warren Fire and Ambulance Services along with Knox County Sheriff's Deputy Jeremy Joslyn responded to the scene.

Traffic was rerouted through Bogg's Mobile Home parking lot going north on Route 90, while traffic headed south was slowed, but maintained.
