“Gifford Ewing and Susan Williams: Photographs and Paintings” will open with a 5 to 8 p.m. reception Wednesday, Aug. 20, at Pascal Hall, 86 Pascal Ave. The show will be open from noon to 5 p.m. daily for a week, then by chance or appointment through the end of September.
Gifford Ewing is a Denver-based photographer who specializes in fine art black and white photography using a Deardorff field camera. Ewing’s images capture landscapes worldwide, with a strong focus on the state of Maine and the West.
Susan Williams is known for her imagined landscapes — dreamy, interior descendants of romantic landscapes rendered in oils on Mylar and panels. Williams is represented by the Caldbeck Gallery in Rockland; and the Barry Whistler Gallery in Dallas.
Both artists have shown their work extensively throughout the United States. For more information, call 213-0713.
