The Rockland Elks Men's Softball League regular season has come to a close, as the postseason swung in this week.

The double-elimination playoffs began Monday, Aug. 11 and, weather permitting, will wrap up on Saturday, Aug. 16.

If any games are postponed during the week, the championship will move to Sunday, Aug. 12, said league president Greg Knight.

Games are played at the Elks Field on Rankin Street in Rockland and at the Bolduc Correctional Facility on Route 97 in Warren.

The final regular-season standings were: Simmons Lobster Wharf, 15-1, .938 winning percentage; Mid-Knight Auto, 13-3, .813; Aflac, 11-5, .6887; Port Clyde Lobster, 10-5, .667; Boothbay Yacht, 8-8, .500; Smokestack Grille, 6-10, .375; New Leaf Construction, 4-11, .308; Bolduc Correctional Facilty, 4-12, .267; and McClean Plumbing & Heating, 0-16, .000.

Aflac is the defending league champion.

Playoff games Aug 11 include: No. 2 Mid-Knight Auto 29, No. 7 New Leaf Construction 7 and No. 8 BCF 9, No. 9 McClean Plumbing & Heating 7. BCF will face No. 1 Simmons Lobster Wharf on Wednesday, Aug. 13.

Playoff games Aug. 12 include: No. 6 Smokestack Grille versus No. 3 Aflac and No. 5 Boothbay Yacht versus No. 4 Port Clyde Lobster.
