The public is invited to a Make a Difference evening of fine food and drink Thursday, Aug. 14, at The Pearl on the Pier, off Harbor Park. The evening, which begins at 7 p.m., will include an opportunity to learn about the difference Station Maine is making in the lives of youth in Midcoast Maine.

Attendees will enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by Michele Ragussis of The Pearl and the Food Network, paired with five wines created by Michele D’Aprex, the only female American winemaker in Bordeaux, France.

Tickets are $100 per person, with proceeds benefiting Station Maine, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. For more information, call 691-2037.
