There are still no leads in the case of a home invasion in Camden in the early morning hours of Aug. 3.

According to Camden Police Detective Curt Andrick, renters of a house on Maple Street awoke around 6 a.m. to find an intruder inside the house.

The intruder, described by Andrick as a skinny white male around 6-feet tall, was wearing a dark Under Armour hooded sweatshirt and pajama-type pants.

Andrick said police arrived at the house shortly after 6 a.m. and the suspect had already fled the scene.

Camden officers, with help from Rockport Police and a K-9 unit from the Maine State Police, attempted to track the individual until approximately 7:30 a.m. without success.

No injuries were reported in the home invasion and nothing seemed to be missing from the home at the time of the report.

The incident remains under investigation, Andrick said.
