Come to the Maine Lighthouse Museum Thursday, Aug. 7 to celebrate National Lighthouse Day.

There will be free admission to the museum, which is located at 1 Park Drive.

There will be a flag raising at 10 a.m., music from Miners Creek Bluegrass Band from 10 a.m. to noon.

Donations of $50 or more will receive a copy of "Portland Head Light — A Pictorial Journey Through Time," by Tim Harrison.

Donations of $100 or more will receive a lighthouse print by local artist Eveline Gugelmann-Henner.
