Maine Coast Heritage Trust’s annual Aldermere Farm Art Show and Sale will take place Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the historic farmhouse located on the Aldermere Farm property, 20 Russell Ave.

The event is a fundraiser to help support agricultural programming for local youth, while also highlighting local artists who capture the beauty of the farm through original paintings and prints of the Belted Galloway cattle and pastoral vistas. On display and for sale throughout the day will be whimsical to traditional pieces to choose from at every price point. More than 300 pieces of artwork will be on display from more than 50 local artists.

Also available during the event are numerous retail items, from T-shirts and hats to magnets and stuffed animal Belties. Beltie beef will be available for purchase that day, as well.

Back by popular demand, the show also will offer Maine coastal scene paintings and prints that honor the traditional landscapes along the coast that Maine Coast Heritage Trust has worked hard to preserve over the years.
