Rose & The Wayfaring Strangers will play Tuesday, July 29, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Elm Street Grille, 115 Elm St./Route 1. The group’s style of music ranges from Hank Williams, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt to Merle Haggard, with a little bluegrass gospel thrown in for good measure.
Rose and Wayfaring Strangers features Kim Moran of Lincolnville on vocals, mandolin and flute; Doug Teel of Rockville on vocals and guitar; Ron Haven of Appleton on bass; Linda Stevenson of Warren on vocals and fiddle; Scott Harrison on vocals and guitar; and Rosey Gerry of Lincolnville on vocals, banjo, guitar and autoharp.
Rose and Wayfaring Strangers has performed up and down the Midcoast and enjoys seeing people participate during performances; the local musicians’ enthusiasm and mix of music are sure to have listeners toe-tapping and singing along.
