Meet two of our wonderful cats. We have a shelter full of them, and we’ll bet there is at least one among them who is meant to be your cat.

Cocoa is a sweet and very friendly cat who would like to find himself in a fur-ever home yesterday. That being out of the question, he’d settle for tomorrow. Cocoa loves to spend the day hanging out with people, playing with toys and catching a cat nap.

Little Girl is very sad. Her owner died, and she is with us now hoping for another chance at a loving home. This sweet cat likes to lounge around and she tends to keep to herself. She may not always ask for attention, but she won’t mind if you give her a little scratch under the chin, and you’ll have a friend for life.

Whoever called it “kitten season” left the final -s out of season. It is far from over, and we are still taking in baby kittens or pregnant cats who could really use a foster home. Fostering involves opening your home to and helping take care of kittens less than eight weeks old or a pregnant cat. This is a very special “job.” Not only do you have little kittens staying at your home, but you are nurturing them into playful, social little kittens. We provide food, a play cage, litter and toys. All we ask from you is that you give them lots of the love and attention that will make them fully socialized. And it’s happened that several have loved their way into their foster parents’ heart as well as home. Please call or stop by for more information on this win-win program.

On our wish need list: Cat brushes, cat toys, cat treats, dog treats, dog collars and dog toys. We also need bleach, laundry detergent, dish soap and paper plates. Thank you, as always, for your generosity.
