Rockland Public Library will offer two courses, beginner's sign language and getting started in homeschooling, both beginning in August.
The beginner's sign language class is Wednesdays, Aug. 6, 20, and 27, at 11 a.m.
Local teacher Susan Jones will conduct a beginner’s class in sign language in the Children’s Room.
On Thursday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. the library will present a workshop, Getting Started in Homeschooling.
The workshop, presented by Homeschoolers of Maine, is designed for those just beginning to homeschool or are researching the option.
Children may attend along with parents.
